Captain Cook, Hawaii

The picture was from yesterday morning taken from our balcony at Uncle Billy's in Hilo. The cruise ship was the Pride of America and was quite a sight to see it come and go in the small harbor.

Well here it is Thursday morning. We are off the grid with Jason and Kollette Stith on their coffee and Mac nut farm. All I can say is..... beee u tee ful! It still might be a couple of days before I get any serious picture posting done. They don't have much electricity much less high speed internet. What they do have is fruit of all kind falling off trees and a view of the Pacific from 1500 feet up and 5 miles away. When it is clear you can see the horizon that is probably another 10 miles.

Sometime Saturday we will be flying to Kauai and at that time I should have time and internet to catch up with pictures. I'm shooting about 250 to 300 a day and Karen has her camera. She is posting on Facebook. You can join facebook and look her up and request to be her friend... then you can see her pics. It is free and doesn't take that long. It will probably be Saturday by the time she gets on Facebook again.

Well, let me send this off for posting. Until next time... which might be Saturay night....

Richard
